Sculpture "Tautasdziesma" (Folk Song)
At the intersection of Ojārs Vācieši and Mazās Nometņu streets is a sculpture by sculptor Ojārs Feldbergs, installed in 1990 in honor of the 19th General Latvian Song Festival, which reunited the Latvian people, divided by exile and repression, for the first time since World War II. The sculpture is an allegory of the people of four Latvian regions who have come to Riga for the Song Festival, which has been an event of national strength, hope, and unity since 1873.
